About Us
It’s all about you, the Artist, so here’s a little bit about us!
Art Squared was Co-founded in 2008 by Kirk Slater and Liam Murphy with the vision of free exposure and maximum publicity being made available for all digital artists.
Both being artists themselves they know how difficult it can be to gain the right, necessary publicity and exposure needed to get noticed. With this in mind Art Squared was born.
The initial idea behind Art Squared was to produce an art book that was free to enter, available to all digital artists and a creation that would give them a platform in which they could showcase their artwork and contact details to gain exposure.
As the book began to develop we realised that we wanted to support the digital art community online as well as offline in print. In answer to this we created version 2 of the Art Squared site.
Today Art Squared is an online community for digital artists, where they can showcase their latest work, network with friends, rate each others work, find resources, news and help each other to succeed, by offering tips and advice.
